Almost magically, we spotted a Chipotle around 7:30 yesterday.
Real food on a road trip?!? Count me in! I got a vegetarian burrito bowl.
Underneath all that lettuce was rice, black beans, guacamole, roasted corn salsa, and fresh tomato salsa.
It was the perfect fuel to get me to Ohio. Perhaps a bit too much fuel, because we ended up keeping my parents awake chatting until almost 2am!
My mom was able to lure me out of bed at 8am with the thrill of a bike ride. My grandparents live right next to a fabulous running/bike path; I’m so jealous! My mom and I started our day off right with a good workout – biked 7.6miles.
Now I’m off to find breakfast before we start the rest of the day’s activities. Hope everyone else is having a good weekend!
Go you on that biking. Go girl! Go!
Good news! Foodista is inviting you to attend this year’s International Food Blogger Conference in Seattle on August 27-29! There also are sponsorships offered that you can take advantage of! For more information, check this page out.
Hope to see you there! Keep on blogging. 🙂
I think it’s about time to give Chipotle another chance. I’ve never been a fan- and I always go back for another attempt because so many people love it…
Yep, it’s about that time again…
Why have you done this to me?!!?!? Chipotle is my fave and their veggie burrito bowl is what I get. Oh my that looks good. Their corn salsa is so delicious it hurts!
Did you know they scout around and contract local farmers to get all their ingredients? Including things like black beans! My dad has greenhouses and they contracted him for crops of cilantro. Seriously amazing.
That is really cool!
Love that chipotle! It’s so good, every time. Have fun with your family!!
awe i would have loved some beans in that bowl but im not complaining, it still looks AMAZING! and i loved reading that cup 🙂 id wanna keep it and use it to store something in.. like pens lol ❤
