My burnt nachos were fabulous, but I just couldn’t get the idea of gooey cheese out of my head….So I made a second (smaller!) plate; hello tummy-ache! I regret nothing!* (*said with a French accent)
I did NOT however, make nachos for breakfast 🙂 Ever since my fabulous overnight nog oats last month I’ve been dreaming about new overnight bowls. I finally decided that chocolate milk would be the way to go.
Sadly, I bought this for nutritional stats and the flavor was lacking.
(sorry about the janky images, I’m not happy about using the husband’s laptop for blogging) I’ll trade a few more calories for more chocolate flavor next time. Maybe soy milk? Breakfast was still ok though –
1/3 cup each Almond Breeze and oats were put in the fridge last night and this morning 1/3 cup each plain nonfat yogurt and blueberries were added.
The plan for today includes housework, schoolwork, and some tv watching. I want to make a real dinner tonight (you know, like a wife) so I’m moving the gym trip to earlier this afternoon. Happy Hump Day!
What is your favorite kind of flavored “milk?” I’m a skim-cow’s kind of girl, but nothing can beat Silk Soy Nog.

i love REAL chocolate milk. I don’t know what it is, but I just have to have it every now and then 🙂
I’m totally allergic to milk and HATE the texture of soy milk. If I had to use milk I’d go with nut milks or rice milk.
I hate the taste of the replacement milks, I think that they taste so fake. But I absolutely love skim cow’s milk!! I also dont like flavored milks because the flavorings make the milk taste nasty!!
Gah, I love all milk. I drink 2% cows when I just drink it…love the fat, it keeps me full. Skim tastes too watery for me. I also love vanilla soy (best on cereal) and I actually like the vanilla almond milk for baking and over fruit.
didnt reall like the chocolate almond milk! do like the almond for oats tho 🙂
i ALWAYS use the word janky! you make me smile
