I’m very open on my blog, probably to a fault. I share about my lady business and even my fights with the husband. There is nothing in my personal life that I chose not to share with the blog. However, I did manage to mature before Facebook, and there are things from my business life that I have the savvy not to share.
Which in general wouldn’t be a problem, except that sometimes these things involve frustrating long errands and news that makes me irritated and sad. And these feelings and errands do end up impacting what/how I eat, which is the focus of the blog.
For today, I’ll apologize for being vague, and ask that you don’t request an explanation for my strange eats and short post. Thank you.
Breakfast = vending machine pastry while I was stuck waiting for an appointment.
This actually wasn’t terrible, but I was pretty annoyed to not be filled up by a 450calorie “breakfast.”
Starbucks for caffeine.
Grande iced Americano with skim milk.
{insert 4 hour nap here}
Dinner = grilled turkey sandwich on sourdough (no butter) with swiss, 1000island dressing, and tomatoes.
Veggies eaten today: 1cup, of potatoes, which count but still boo.
If you are a blogger, are there any parts of your life you choose not to share? Why or why not?

I’m pretty much an open book. I talk about work and my fristrations with it but i don’t say the company I work for, names of people I work with or what exactly I do within my company. I have a number of people from work and family on facebook so sometimes I can’t vent on there as I would like to so use my blog for that. And I love food…..alot. And I am sure everyone on Facebook doesn’t want to see pics of my food, hear about workouts, etc.
Sidenote, I am totally jealous of your four hour nap.
I don’t have a blog, but I work for a pretty big company that occasionally gets criticized by my friends on FB. They know I work there, but the criticism usually has to do with other aspects of the company with which I am not involved. Anyway, I have to bite my tongue, because it is just not worth risking losing my job. If my comments or defense were ever made public, I could be viewed as representing the company.
I hope whatever is bugging you gets resolved soon!
yea vending machine food is impossible to fill up on i think.
i think we all have some little things we choose not to share or at least choose not to share all of it. i dont think its good to put every little thing out there… since we never know who reads it right?
but that being said what uve shared on ur blog hasent been bad and i think is awesome cuz it works so well for you. it is a great outlet that u can just let it off ur chest. so im guessing theres no right or wrong here..just whats right/wrong for each individual.

I just started my blog and want to be more honest about a lot of issues like wait and emotional eating and things like that, I just haven´t been too open yet because I don´t really know who my audience is–if its my fellow peace corps volunteers, and staff, or whoever, who is reading it, that would be weird. but once i feel like i have a base of like-minded healthy-living type readers who can relate, i want to post more openly about that.
sorry it was a rough day 😦
Yeah, there’s a lot I don’t share on the blog.
