Autumn is for Apples

I was having camera and computer issues yesterday so I figured I was better off forgetting about a post.  I’ve been feeling very, very under-motivated lately so I can’t say I personally accomplished much, but I did get a lot of excitement in the mail!  I have some fun reviews coming up 🙂

I did spend a lot of my downtime yesterday thinking about what my goals are.  I sort of have a list, but I think it’s important to put things down on paper so once I’ve solidified that I will share it with you all.  With that in mind, I started my day at 5:30am.  It wasn’t as painful as I thought it would be.  I’m going to work on some getting up early strategiesthis week and if I hit success I’ll let you guys know.

My doctor’s appointment for today was cancelled so my plans got slightly switched around.  The first thing I decided to do was tackle my lab work for this evening.  It’s going to be a long and difficult one tonight, eek!  I hope I do ok, and I really hope I get my quiz from last week back (and that I did ok!).

I was dreaming of apple picking while I ate – 1/2 an Apple Pie Lara Bar and a Nonfat Apple Turnover Yopliat Yogurt.

Breakfast was pretty light so I’m going to enjoy this Rockstar Juiced while I do Chemistry reading.

Next on the agenda is a trip to the gym.  I’m trying to time it so I can walk straight from sweating to Walgreens, I have a 10am appointment to get my flu shot.  Anyone want to mentally send me a lollipop for being brave?!?!

Are you a morning bird or a night owl?  I’m a little bit of both.  I’ve never been someone who is especially sluggish in the morning (not that I’ve been up for morning lately!) but I’ve always been able to stay up late.  When I was in high school I didn’t need much sleep and I was basically hyper from morning until night 🙂

  1. WHohoo! Good work the 5:30 wake up call. I used to drink rock star in college but haven’t had it in a while – this kind looks good! I am a total morning person – for the life of me, I can’t stay up past 10pm. I try…but I fall asleep wherever I am. Border line narcolepsy.

    • Devan G Newman – it’s funny that you said that because I was soooo shakey today! Obviously not related because I only took a few sips but still a funny coincidence.
