Fall in May

My veggie consumption was pretty pitiful yesterday, so I knew I needed to start today on the right foot.  Hence, breakfast –

Fat-free Oikos Greek Yogurt with 1/3 cup canned pumpkin and 1T real maple syrup.

Since the weather outside is more fall than spring

breakfast seemed perfect.

Eat More Veggies Tip #3 – Don’t be afraid to eat veggies at all hours of the day; there’s no written rule that breakfast has to be cereal and fruit.

Today is looking very low-key, I have a few quick errands and an even quicker gym trip but other than that I’m wide open (TWSS!).  Perhaps I’ll do some baking 😀

What is the most non-traditional breakfast you enjoy?  I personally don’t think anything can beat cold pizza in the am.

  1. Oh man, my husband will eat ANYTHING for breakfast. Meatloaf, lasagna, hamburgers…all game for him. No rules.

    I like peas in the AM. Peas with an egg…yummy.
