And now 7 random, cool facts about me –
- When I ran cross-country in high school I finished the first race last dead last and then puked all over myself.
- I started college as a communication major and was one credit from a minor when I switched to education (I also have a 2nd major in English).
- I really, really like stickers. In fact, in high school, I wore at least three a day and walked around handing them out.
- (Given fact #3 this one is astonishing) I was popular in high school, and sometimes I used to wish I was picked on so I could have a character building experience.
- I think Dr. Seuss is a genius and taught several of his books in my 8th grade curriculum.
- I’m a major klutz, Adam is astonished by how often I hurt myself.
- I’m pretty bummed about my foot. I think the best way to feel better is to make someone else smile, so I’m hosting a small giveaway below.

I am ambidextrious (is that how you spell it?). I write and eat with my left hand, but use scissors and throw with my right hand.

Random fact…crap, i am the most random person in the entire world and can’t think of anything…
Even though Buffalo is some random city that I wound up in, my grandpa grew up there. As did my best friend’s mom. Two of my friends’ dads also went to college there. And all of the above are from Madison, so it’s really weird that they all of Buffalo connections.
And while I don’t think I believe fate, I think it was fate that I ended up coming here.
Actually, honey, I believe you threw up before the race was over (me to another spectator: “I’m looking for my daughter…” Spectator: “Well, there’s a young girl throwing up on the curb way back there!”)
Random fact – It’s fun for me to decorate the Library’s weekly sign up sheet with stickers. Does anyone notice that the theme, stickers, and ink color MATCH??
Mom – that was actually another race, I puked at both of them! And if I was home I would notice!
I think that the most interesting fact about me is that on the day that I was born, my dad was so worried that I would be unlucky because I was born on friday the 13th, but ever since then… I have won many prizes.

Oh yeah, random fact: I have a piece of led stuck in my palm from a pencil accident in 6th grade. 🙂
#1 pretty much happened to me too! I came in dead last and puked after a 4×400 relay at my first (and only) track meet of high school! Gave up running for almost 7 years after that, but ironically have gone on to win or place in my age division in a handful of 5K’s!
