Feeling Blue(berry)

We bought this exciting Jamagansett salty blueberry jam in Hudson and I’ve been using it with abandon.

Highlights from the week…

Tons of fresh blueberries, per usual. My current favorites are Driscoll’s Sweetest Batch.

Blueberry cold foam iced coffee. Iced coffee with maple syrup topped with skim milk and half and half frothed with jam.

Blueberry lemonade matcha with lemon juice, jam, and vanilla yuzu seltzer.

This High Brew nitro blueberry cold brew was shockingly good for a canned coffee.

Blueberry milk mochi.

We loved this brown butter emerald ice cream; great texture and it had a toffee swirl!

Roasted salad. Broccoli and sugarcone cabbage with dried cranberries and walnuts dressed with a mix of jam, lemon juice, Dijon, rice vinegar, rosemary mint simple syrup, and fresno chili. For our proteins Adam shared a steak with the dog (for his FIFTEENTH buyday!) and I pre-gamed dinner with chicken nuggets from 7-11 (like a winner).

Related – this kids’ bean and cheese taco from Tony’s Tacos was one of my favorite things I ate all week.

Buffalo chicken salad. Shredded chicken breast, roasted navy beans, green onions, and shredded white cheddar, tossed with plain skyr, Duke’s, Franks, and Trader Joe’s ranch seasoning. This was the best chicken salad I’ve ever made (thanks to the crispy beans!). Plus roasted zucchini.
