No blog post from me this week.

This Wednesday my hometown was devastated by Hurricane Irma so that’s obviously all I’ve really been thinking about.  I have been told that my family all made it through ok, but I have not been able to talk to my parents yet and honestly doubt I’ll be able to communicate with them until next week.

US news coverage of my beautiful island – a United States territory whose inhabitants are American citizens – has been abysmal, but it is going to take months – years to rebuild.  If you feel compelled to help, here are two good donation options:
