Raising the Bar, A Giveaway

Things may not be perfect here at Eating Chalk, but I recently raised the bar (for myself) by switching over to self-hosting.  And by switching back to a more fitting name; Eatventures, you’ll be missed!

I wanted to celebrate those big changes by hosting a little giveaway.  I raised the bar, now I want to send one of you some bars –

10 of my favorites to be exact (excluding any chocolate covered varieties because those just don’t ship well).

You have until Thursday, August 19th to enter.  Here’s how –

  1. CC me (emilyhwaxATgmail.com) on an e-mail in which you tell 2 people about the new Eating Chalk.  Leave a comment on this post to let me know you’ve done so.
  2. Link back to this giveaway on your blog.  Leave a comment on this post to let me know you’ve done so.
  3. Link back to this giveaway from Twitter.  Leave a comment to let me know you’ve done so.
  4. Link back to this giveaway from Facebook.  Leave a comment to let me know you’ve done so.

You can do all of the four if you’d like, just leave a separate comment for each entry.

P.S. Sorry for the missing post yesterday (and today), we’ve had a mini internet issue but I should be back tomorrow.

  2. oh no! i was going to comment for the giveaway. i thought it would end at night. i’d love to try the bars! i don’t know why people didn’t comment but i enjoy your blog since i went to UB, too. so, it’s nice to read what you’re doing upstate and attending my alma mater. 🙂

    • Aw, stink, I would’ve entered! Just came across this now 😦 Also, I think it would’ve helped if one of the ways to enter was to simply leave a comment. If most readers are like myself, they like the lazy way to enter 😛

  3. I wanted to enter! But I didn’t have anyone to CC this blog too (none of my friends read food blogs), and I don’t have a blog or use twitter or facebook 😦 Anyway, I hope one lucky person gets it or you could just enjoy them yourself as a treat :)!

  4. I can’t win (can I?) since I’m your mom, but I thought it was too confusing, with too many choices. Otherwise, everything you do is perfect!

  5. Here’s why I didn’t enter (I SO wanted to!! It was not a sucky givewaway at ALL!!)

I don’t have a blog, twitter, or facebook to link to.

Emailing about your blog was too much work 🙂

I like the giveaways where I just have to leave a comment. No other work required besides maybe thinking a bit 🙂

  6. I didn’t enter because I just got home from our (internet-less) cottage and am just catching up! I may have linked back on Twitter or Facebook but yeah it did sound complicated
