I’ll post eats later tonight but I was itching to show off my new digs! A lot is the same as our old spot, so I’m just going to show the general rooms and some of my favorite things. Hope you like! (skip to the bottom if you’re only interested in the giveaway)
This apartment is much smaller than our last one so there’s lots of “decorative” storage at play.
Our entry way –
I’m not sure if the pictures really show it, but the walls are a fabulous blue-green-gray color that makes me happy 🙂
Under-the-sea bathroom.
The bedroom –
It was a bit of struggle getting both of our closets in here but I think we managed ok.
The office –
The teeny tiny kitchen.
We had to buy two separate shelving units,
and our stuff is still everywhere!
Our living room.
Looooove the fireplace (non-working) and exposed brick!
Finally, the dining area.
The bears were glad to be out of storage again!

I once saw a dining room painted red and it was awesome. It sounds crazy, but with the right furniture and flooring it really worked!
Happy late birthday!!! So glad you guys got moved, and i love the new place – especially the fireplace 🙂 I love brick work.
My dream dining room color (right now) would be either a pale green or lavender.
I would make it a navy blue and white. Something that is soothing. Something that is traditional.
I want it to be a warm color NOT the cold light green it is WITH a stupid butterfly border that my damn husband put up! Oops did I write that?
My new kitchen is even smaller (pics to come on my blog); looks like organized the kitchen space effectively though! Cute place.
My dream dining room would be a light seafoam green, very much a clean beachy feel.
I am so impressed with what you’ve made out of a small space! I’m getting ready to move into a very small space with my partner, and nervous to fit our lives into that space…
Happy belated birthday. I would currently paint my dream dining room a shade of green. But a bright shade of green I think.
My dream dining room color would be lighter blue
I would go for some shade of blue with a brown border. That’s been my favorite color combo the last couple of years…
I like really saturated bold colors. I think a deep red would be fantastic. Although I really like my navy wall now… 🙂
Glad to hear the move’s going ok- I’m sure you’ll be happy to be officially settled in soon!
Yellow! Nice and bright and cheery!
Your new apt. looks cute! If i had my choice i’d probably go with some shade of blue. I rent my apt now so i have to stick with boring white 😦 Happy belated!
i would love to have it warm green!
I would love a light, cheery buttercup yellow! I think it would be so nice to still have a bright room, but NOT boring white like most apartments!
After seeing it at Hampton Mansion in Towson, MD, I have wanted a peacock blue dining room.
a light blue for sure
Yay for new digs!! I love all your dishes AND the exposed brick. Fantastic! Good work getting all that hard moving work done.
I would paint my dining room a dark RED. I love red. (And I love your red pants in the above picture, too :-))
A pale beige/yellow maybe? I’d love for my dining room to be bright and sunny. The windows in yours are awesome – natural light is the best!
I need to redecorate our apartment. We have NO storage space so it’s difficult.
The under the sea bathroom excites me so much! I LOVE IT!!! The little crabs! AW!!!!
My dream dining room would be a seafoam green or a light blue. Love those colors!
My dream kitchen would have a couple burgandy walls mixed with beige walls and dark cherry oak furniture.
Pale yellow, ‘cuz it’s so cheerful!
My dream dining room would be a Caribbean blue, because I am obsessed with that color. 🙂
I also tweeted this! 🙂
I love grayish navy blue. There’s just something about dark colors in the dining room for me!
(I lived out this fantasy by convincing my mom she had to paint her room that color!)
I would paint my dream living room gray blue! I know that’s really not that exciting but I love that color! Oh and I would add in a humongous flat screen t.v. and a comfy couch too!
I love the (non working) fireplace and the lovely floors in your new apartment!
I would definitely love to have the dining are no 1 or 4! I like it that yours is round – so creative!
I’d love to have exposed bricks in my apt! I’d paint my walls a nice shade of grass green or yellow.
I love any shades of green but if I could, I’ve always wanted to do vertical stripes of sage green and white.
I’d have to choose navy blue!
…i spy giant microbes on your shelf! aaahh is that the flesh eating one? i have the egg cell lol i love it- i’m such a nerd haha
Hahaha, yeah, he has the flesh eating bacteria and tb!
I love red for dining rooms/kitchens.
First of all – I totally have those same dotted bins in my kitchen!
If I ever have a dinning room, I think I would want it to be a warm grey so I could make it very art deco with mirrors and Tiffany blue. Rich and delish!
