Great Giveaway

Having a husband in medical school means that plans often get changed around.  It’s annoying, but considering that my only “job” right now is housewife I try to just roll with it.  Which is why I moved my gym trip to 9 this evening.  I will be going for certain, you can count on seeing a training update!

I did NOT, however, feel like moving my afternoon evening snack around!  Since 95% of my to-do’s are complete (the biggie was transferring my i-tunes files and I could not be happier that’s finished!) I gave myself 30minutes or so to read some magazines while I had a tasty snack.

Baked Pita Chips with Garlic and Artichoke Salsa; 1 serving of each; holy yum!

Now that you guys have heard me rave about Cedar’s products for 2+ weeks, I’m giving you a chance to do some raving of your own!

Cedar’s sent me 12 free product coupons and I will be choosing 4 lucky readers to share my wealth.

  1. giveaway ends this Friday (1/29) at noon – Pacific time for my West Coast readers
  2. for a chance to win: leave a comment on this post telling me your favorite Mediterranean dish
  3. for a 2nd/3rd entry: link back to this post and/or tweet back and leave me a comment telling me you’ve done so

  1. What a great giveaway! I was just talking about baba ghanoush and my love of it this morning, but I think that falafel is probably my favorite Mediterranean food, for sure.

    Have a good gym workout!

  2. I had this amazing pine nuts, cauliflower, currants, onion and olive oil dish at Palma in the West Village last week while visiting…it was an AMAZING Mediterranean dish!

  4. Hmm I guess I am not very original but I like hummus and falafel too.
Cedars has the best pitas too if you can find them! I get them in a little restaurant in the Eastern Hills food court!
I just bought some Cedars hummus tonight at Wally World!

  5. Your dinner looks like it’s perfectly fine. Seems like what you’re eating is just right. You have some protein, carbs and veggies. PS. I LOVE brie cheese.

My favorite Mediterranean dish…I don’t know is tilapia made Med style, baked with onions and tomatoes. And of COURSE I ABSOLUTELY LOVE HUMMUS! Oh man, if only falafels weren’t such FRIED goodness. I do love a good falafel though.

There’s this place in my college town that has AMAZING Mediterranean food. I made a post on it if you want to check it out.

  7. oooh! chips, dip and magazines?? What could be better? I love, love Mediterranean food, so it’s a tough call, but currently it’s probably a huge Greek salad with olives and chunks of feta, perhaps with a grilled chicken kabob. Oh, so good!

  11. Besides hummus, I gotta go with this eggplant dish a restaurant near me makes – not sure about everything in it but it’s fabulous!
