Only Half Dead

I am the worst blogger on Earth!  I’ve pretty much been asleep since my last post though, so there wasn’t much to write about.  I think my crappy sleep since we moved here has finally caught up with me.

I’m drinking warm milk with honey tonight at 9pm and going straight to bed, so no matter how I feel expect a post tomorrow morning.

I need advice!  What do you do when you can’t sleep?

  1. I HATE insomnia!! I definitely sleep better when I’ve gotten some good exercise but NOT too late in the day (an evening run keeps me up until at least midnight) . . . and read something really dense/watch something really boring on tv, that helps. Rest up!

I have trouble sleeping a lot too…..if it’s really bad then I make sure not to watch tv right before bed (they say it stimulates your mind when it should be relaxing) or if I can’t sleep when I’m in bed, I get up, walk around, get something to drink and lie on the couch until I feel sleepy enough to go back to bed.

  3. Warm milk and reading (not in my bedroom…but the living room) does it for me. If I stay in my room/ bed, it just doesn’t happen. I have also been known to get up in the middle of the night and workout – but that is for extreme cases.

  4. I am the last person to ask, because I sleep like the dead! Seriously, when my husband and I first got together it freaked him out when I would be asleep in 5 minutes and not move all night!
