Bad decisions all around! “District 9” suck, suck, sucked. Save your money, do not go. Also, my mom told me to charge my movie snacks to her and I might have gone a bit crazy –

Adam and I split popcorn and a diet soda and I ate 85% of that (huge) box of candy.

It is, unequivocally, time for bed.

What do you eat at the movies?  The movies seems to be my Achilles’ Heel of healthy eating this year.  Popcorn is my favorite thing ever, but I don’t even like movie-made popcorn, so I’m not sure why I keep eating it.  What I really, really like, is to bring apple slices to the movies (or jr mints).

  1. I always pack healthy options and sneak them into my purse. 🙂 A 100 calorie pack of popcorn, an english muffin sandwich, a bag of grapes. 🙂 Saves money, and I don’t feel any guilt!

I am sorry you didn’t like District 9. I must admit, it was brilliantly done in my opinion!

    • Courtney – it was just so not what I was expecting! Honestly, my main issue is that I found it quite sad, and in light of our sad news today we weren’t in the mood for sad.

  2. Everyone deserves a break from healthy eating….I indulge in something I really like every single day to stay sane….and the movies are the perfect place to do so! I have brought my own snacks on occassion, but nothing beats the pretzel bites and big boxes of candy….it’s part of the experience so don’t feel bad- just enjoy it:)
