FYI (because I know everyone totally cares!) I will not be posting today because I’m going on early vacation – once we are done packing and running a few errands I am spending the day chillaxing, alone with my husband. We’ve had lots of downtime, but not much togethertime and that situation needs to be fixed.
I am heading home to St. Thomas early tomorrow morning and I plan on doing regular posts throughout my vacation. However, my parents don’t have internt (it is an island!) so I will be posting sporadically when I can go to work with my mommy.
Have a great Tuesday!
What is annoying about visiting your parents’ house(s)? I (and my husband) get along superwell with my parents so we pretty much have a great time, my only complaint is the lack of internet and cable tv, which really, aren’t that big of a deal 🙂
Have a great time on your vacaaayy Emily!
I “visit” my parents when I come down from school on the weekends sometimes and I find it annoying that they never have any food I eat…it’s like, they DON’T even eat! EVER! It’s so annoying lol but I love them 🙂
Your early vacation sounds great. 🙂 I hope you enjoy your real one also!
I also don’t have any complaints about visiting my parents – I can relax there more than I can anywhere else – its great. I love cooking for the family and having some cocktails. 🙂
I hope you enjoy both your “early vacation” and your actual vacation! Visiting my parents’ place is always a mixed bag–I love my parents to death, but it can be difficult to go back to being a child after living on my own for so long!
There’s no place for me to sleep! After I left to college my parents gave my room to my little sister since she and my brother had been sharing before. Now if I go home I am relegated to sleeping on the couch 😦
But… I love my family so I go anyway. Plus they only live an hour away, so it’s not like I can’t visit and then go sleep in my own bed 🙂
Yay island vacay! Have so much fun! I just got back from Vegas at the boyf’s parents’ house and was so pleased to find that I got along so well with them, so I can appreciate the value of your hubs enjoying your fam!
